It wasn't just a 16 mile climb. It started right from the start. I would say it was rollers, big ones for 10 miles then even bigger rollers for miles more. My top speed today was 42.4 mph

but the real climb came after that. It was so deceiving. It almost looked flat or a slight grade. We climbed and climbed through s gorgeous canyon and on up to Evory Pass at 8228'. It got cold, snow on the side of road and some wind. I couldn't finish and sagged just 2 miles from the summit. I climbed 4500' of elevation and was grateful for the ride. It started to snow shortly after. And riders came in,some sagged and some finished
were at the Black Range B&B. We have it to ourself. What a great place
old funky quaint with lots of rooms and places to socialize. There's s pool game going on downstairs and a card game upstairs. Lots oh laughing as we wait for the hostess to serve us our turkey dinner. We are starved!
