met Katie and Annie for a short visit at the coffee shop.......I smelled bacon and eggs cooking so I started looking around
and found this VW with the trunk open and this man cooking his breakfast .........he told us how he lives in his VW and he painted it Camo and how he sheath camps around town in it. How cool is that..... remember the days in the VW I loved mine!

New haircut

well here it is..... check out the mileage each day..... Yikes, what have I done? this is madness, but Im sure I will have some fun
and some tears and some soreness

one day to 60....and still sick

I went to urgent care this morning, took about 3 hours before I saw a doc..... he prescribed antibiotics
same ones I had in dec...... and Advair ........ I am in bed and will stay quiet until this passes. I gave up on training and
Boot Camp.... .

My bike is in the shop getting tuned up and new tires.
at least she will be ready to go

not much to report other than calmness in accepting my fate

this is the route....... its daunting as I lay in bed with another cold that is interfering with my riding schedule
and I see sunshine out there..... Im not happy right now so I will put my head down on the pillow and take a nap
and hopefully wake up feeling healthy

before the fall

this is Robin John and I before we took off on our Coleman Valley ride
we hadn't gone more than 2 miles when Robin took a fall and John rode his bike over her shoulder
and head... John fell too..... I was up ahead and Robin yelled out to me. I came back
to find both riders checking their bikes for damage. Robins bike has a broken shifter and later we found
out she would have to purchase a new helmet. John's new Trek Madone had some small scratches in the frame
and another scratch on his shifter...... We called Ted to pick up Robin and her bike, John and I felt the trip
was jinked at that point so we rode back to his house and got in a couple of laps around his neighborhood

Yesterday John and I rode off to climb up Bodega Head and then over Bay Hill. According to my local bike map
its at least a 9% grade......so yes Im sore today and after a session of Boot Camp my quads are not happy....

Robin and I are going to get in a ride today before the weather changes...... the news says its going to snow!!!!!!

mikes ride to Tomales 35 miles

7 of us started out from Mikes' house in Sebastopol and rode out to Tomales...... we got in some decent hill climbs and made it to the cafe in time for a good refuel and some laughs.......happy happy because it didn't rain.........yipee
