area. Ditches along the roads filled with trash. Paper and lots of
bottles, tires and toilets.... Very messy. I asked a local resident about it and his response was there wasn't money to hire anyone to clean up..... fotunately we rode past a prison
crew who were doing litter patrol and I hope they continue doing the good work.
I don't know the history of these old cabins but I imaged farm workers may have lived in them.... And a pretty yellow flower filled field. Last photo is some of us taking the ferry across the Mississipi to St Francisville
